- AROUND TOWN -

Here in CNY, it was a day of snow globe snow. One more thing that not everyone can quite agree on, but we all know it's going to come and that we can choose to see the beauty or choose to see the inconvenience. There always will be a difference of opinions, on inauguration day, and any 'ol day. May we handle those differences of opinion with grace,  and drive with grace as well.
According to the siren, local fire departments were kept busy today. May all involved be well!

While the snowbanks are still relatively small for this time of year, the plows were kept busy all morning long and into the afternoon as fluffy snow just kept accumulating.
Clear sidewalks in front of Morgan's. An accomplishment that took continually effort today!
A dusting on the winter greenery at New York Pizzeria.
The Masonic Temple sign giving a pop of color to the day.
The bandstand, a beautiful highlight in all kinds of weather.
Soldiers and Sailors Monument blanketed in snow.
Visibility for much of the day looked like this. Even beneath the shelter of this giant pine (that was lit for the holidays before it simply grew to large).

Start planning your dinner for Friday!
