- AROUND TOWN -

O'Falls PO Box holders be sure to bring your ID when you pick up your mail in Madison starting tomorrow.

Until next year! In the relatively mild weather, the DPW brought in the holiday décor today. We'll have to go back and count just how many light poles that includes. The bottom line is, it's no small feat. But it sure is appreciated!

Over the weekend blue skies peeked through! With just barely enough snow cover, local trails were busy with all sorts of tracks. That includes the Deansboro Towpath pictured here.
As well as around the old reservoir, pictured here.
The higher hilltops have kept the hoarfrost, making for beautiful scenery even a cloud covered winter day. Hopefully you're able to get out and enjoy it!

- WEATHER - ***** - IN THE NEWS -   Click for article by the O.D. on the Varsity Girls Basketball team and Molly Williams' increasing proximity to 1,000 career points ***** - IN THE MAIL - ***** - AROUND TOWN - Gas & Milk: *** Paula Gray Knitting Day took place yesterday, Tuesday, January 29th, at the Jr/Sr High. A beautiful honor that kept the library busy with knitting needles, yarn, smiles, and snacks. *** Without windchill... Clear sidewalks thanks to the DPW taking care of business (working hard in the next 3 pictures). Local restaurants are certainly a warm place to get out and grab a bite. Friday Fish Frys are already popular this winter. Of course, flowers in winter never hurt either.

In fact, low temperatures Monday night/early Tuesday morning will likely fall to around or below freezing.   Ever wonder when the growing season begins where you live (when we start issuing frost/freeze products for the season)? Here is a regional map that shows the median date of the last spring freeze. -COVID-19 UPDATES & IN THE MAIL - Click Here  for the  Latest from Governor Cuomo - Including Additional Guidelines for Regions of NYS to Re-Open Click Here  for the  Latest from the CDC Click Here  for the  NYS Department of Labor Click Here  for the  Oneida County COVID-19 Dashboard Click Here  for the  Madison County COVID-19 Dashboard Click Here  for the  NYS Park Department Trash day is Tuesday, May 5th.
