-IN THE MAIL-

From Ashley Olin seeking to support properties along Big Creek in Waterville and the surrounding area after damage continues with storms like this week's, the Halloween flood of 2019, and others.
"We need as many people from this village to call Assemblyman John Salka's office: 315-361-4125 THE MORE THE BETTER!! Tell them you are concerned about Big Creek and flooding in the Waterville area. His thoughts today were for a retaining wall to be put in before winter this year along with work along the rest of the creek! They were completely taken back by the photos/video we shared. If you have pictures or video you want to share please let me know.
Around lunch time today we were visited by someone from Trout Unlimited. She did a survey of our failing bank. Yes, our garage is in danger of collapse! This project will involve reworking the creek to flood where it should (not just where we are) . As well as getting a retaining wall put in. From what we learned today the creek has shifted 30ft since 1998 toward Rte 12.
Thank you for your support!"

-AROUND TOWN-

Fourth of July Parade on Saturday, July 3rd in Hamilton, NY.
As Waterville does not hold a parade, some of our locals could be seen in festivities here!

Raspberry season has begun!
Zombek's on Bogusville Hill Road have a new self-serve shed to welcome you to their field.

Bill Kardas shared these photos from his visit to MPS during the start of their Summer Learning Program. Both the MPS program and local Rec programs are off to a great start this week!
