Photo Submission
Happy 60th Anniversary to Kent and Carole Cole!

Starting July 12th take a detour around Route 12B in Deansboro.
Also evident in this photo are the dark clouds hovering over Waterville that brought an intense rainfall of about 3" in a short period of time. By this morning things had soaked in/dried out a bit. But we're sure, after listening to the whistle go off multiple times, that many basements were pumped yesterday alone. The following photos of the caves and Big Creek were taken around 11 am. Shortly after the rain started again, and we're sure after another fast 1.5" -  2" they don't look quite the same.

May the damage but minimal, if any, may the creek beds hold, and things dry out (but not too much) as we head into the Fourth of July weekend, with a full day of sunshine predicted on the 4th!

No Blog Post on Monday, July 5th (the 4th observed)
Summer Program at MPS & Summer Recreation start Tuesday, July 6th!

Then, we're bringing a new Hub of the Huddle blogger on, along with a brand new schedule!
Watch for postings on Mondays & Thursdays, and keep sending information, events, photos, and more to hubhuddle@gmail.com. Please note, this means responses will come during their scheduled hours, because everyone, even Waterville bloggers, need downtime.
