Santa is coming to Waterville on Saturday, December 19th! He'll take a ride on a fire truck. Listen for the sirens as he nears you!

- AROUND TOWN -

As of this morning, December was still looking pretty green. Despite the light flakes falling throughout today, those looking for a white Christmas will have to keep hoping.

The tree is up in Deansboro as well! Although we'll have to pay it a visit after dark for the full effect.

Also, this gem along the Towpath trail. A reminder that it's also the season for bright orange, and that the newer, Kirkland side of the trail is closed during the winter months.

The windows in this closed and For Sale portion of Main St (the former Grille, and before that Stinkers Tavern), had another seasonal update to help keep Main Street looking fresh and to keep community spirit up.

Speaking of long closed windows. Local curiosity is still piqued in the former Mini Mart.

We'll update you with Santa's route this weekend when word spreads! Even if the Grinch runs out of kits to hand out at the Waterville Public Library this Thursday, you can still drive thru and wave!
