- AROUND TOWN -

While everyone hopes they're having a lovely vacation... the near reopening on Thursday is also bringing sighs of relief.

Also generating curiosity and anticipation around town...

The approach of August brings with it two offerings of Free Vacation Bible School: at the United Methodist Church next week, plus the Waterville Baptist Church just announced their date for the end of August as well. Great local opportunities!

Beautiful sunny skies with blues and yellows today on Babbott Avenue:

Last Friday, Ellie the Pig and her owners visited the Waterville Public Library Story Hour. Most of the squeals came from the delighted kids who were able to meet Ellie and hear two original stories about her.

***

Today, the Waterville Summer Recreation Program walked over to the library for a Rocket Challenge. With just 20 minutes to complete the challenge, their work was out of this world.
