Congratulations to Michelle Boehlert, author of the new children's book Skyler's Travels,

which was just published through Balboapress last Thursday! Boehlert is a 1990 Waterville graduate and has lived in Oriskany Falls and Waterville her entire life. "At age 47, (I'm) finally fulfilling my lifelong dream. I am married and have 3 children, one of which was my editor." You can catch her at the Oriskany Falls, Clark Memorial Library on August 7th from 10-11 am for a reading, as well as an upcoming date at The Waterville Public Library too. The event was organized by the legendary "Great Western Society" whose members spent several weeks acquiring contact information for all the servicemen and women. The Fire Department laid out a hose in the shape of a heart in the Post Office parking lot.
