Memorial Day dawned with blue sky and sunshine that was welcomed with excitement. While those in uniform may have become quite warm by the end of the Waterville, Deansboro, Oriskany Falls parade trio, for a late May day it was certainly beautiful weather.

Final touches were checked on at the Soldiers and Sailors monument early in the morning.  Then, the Waterville parade kicked off at 9 am with lined streets, and a large congregation for speaker Gerald Plourde and the ceremony that followed.

Legion members and both the Jr/Sr High and MPS Marching bands walked up to the Waterville Residential Care Center to offer a small ceremony to the residents and staff there. A meaningful  addition to the day's services.

The Deansboro parade kicked off at 10:30 am, followed by ceremony and speaker Scott McNamara.  Photos from the Barton Hose Company in Deansboro:

Lastly, Oriskany Falls at Noon, followed by ceremony and speaker Robert Hayduke.
