Twenty five years ago, the Waterville Rotary Club sang not only sang Happy Birthday to one of Waterville's favorite columnists, Dottie Ruane, but also awarded her with the Roses for the Living for outstanding service to her community.

Waterville Rotarian Dave Wicks spent time over Memorial Day Weekend volunteering his time and expertise to construct this wheelchair ramp.  The Rotary club is glad to be able to offer this service to the community, and has built several wheelchair ramps over recent years.

- WEATHER - ***** - IN THE MAIL - ***** - AROUND TOWN - Congratulations to the Oriskany Falls Roses for the Living recipient, Carol Hughes, who was awarded Wednesday evening. *** The Waterville UPK hosted their Art Gala at the Waterville Public Library on Wednesday evening. Along with the Dr. Seuss themed artwork created by the students, the teachers provided themed snacks and games as well for the students, their families & friends. *** Onlookers watching the large maple come down in the park could see sections as tall as the men working. Look closely at those front gardens! The sunshine has brought out spring.
