A Valentine throwback to 2007, and a snow storm that hit in what some would call a more traditional style. We enjoyed a walk back 14 years ago through the At Home in the Huddle Blog.

"At one point, around 3:30 this afternoon, the Food King parking lot was full and there was a line of cars out on Babbott Avenue just waiting for a chance to get in!
Inside Food King, three checkout lanes were open."

WCS enjoyed a 3 Day Snow Day! Route 12 closed. The snow banks soared- until DPW was able to get after them for snow removal. Talk about a little, big thing that most of us probably don't think much about. Imagine those banks and the shoulder parking spots without snow removal!

Although today started below zero and only reached a high of approximately 15 degrees, the skies were filled with sunshine all day and it's certainly much calmer. Looking ahead to Valentine's Day on Sunday, the weather is still looking quite calm. Enjoy it, the ones you love, and for anyone starting Winter Break, a week off!

Since we'll be closed and taking a Blog break on Monday in honor of Presidents' Day, here's your calendars for the week ahead (garbage pick up, etc).
