- AROUND TOWN -

Over the weekend, the holiday feel really ramped up in the Village. St. Bernard's hosted a well attended (so we hear) Clothing Giveaway, pre-registered Thanksgiving boxes were distributed. Plus, a Drive Thru at the Fire Department was hosted by the Diaper Bank and included masks from Layers of Love and donated winter gear from the Waterville Public Library.  As the weather grows colder, budgets grow tighter, but also the holidays grow near, donations are greatly appreciated to local organizations to help continue such efforts to help neighbors help neighbors.

Given that it is Thanksgiving week, we went in search of Thanksgiving/Autumnesque decor, and found it quite difficult to bypass all of the exciting Christmas displays that went up during the nice weekend weather! After our blog break the rest of this week, we'll return with those photos!

Turkeys of all kinds are out there!

These last two are the closest thing to post Thanksgiving we'll add for today!
Happy Thanksgiving!
We'll return Monday, November 30th.
