Election Day Polling Sites

Due to road conditions, WCSD went fully remote today!

Jr/Sr High Spirit Week!

- AROUND TOWN -

With last Thursdays rained predicted to transition to snow overnight, there were many disappointed children when it only slightly dusted the hilltops. The temperature however stayed at a chilly 35-45 degrees all day.  That made for a cold night for the Halloween Trail at the Waterville Public Library- especially those community members who manned stations to entertain walkers.

The pumpkins multiplied again and were ready for a slightly warmer and dry Halloween!

The Waterville Residential Care Center could not invite costumed families in for visits this year. So they invited them to enjoy a short costumed walk up for a goody bag, in hope the residents might catch glimpses as well!

The Town of Marshall worked together for festive Truck or Treat style stop Halloween afternoon.

Halloween night was lit by the full moon and some of the mildest weather we've had over the last stretch of days. Perfect Trick-or-Treating for those who went out. Plenty of candy chutes and tables were set up all over town to help keep social distancing and contact at a minimum. We hope all enjoyed a Happy Halloween.

Then, to start the first Monday of November, came the snow! Enough for a few inches, plenty of play, and a day of fully remote learning for WCS!

A full mix of seasons- which most from CNY would just shrug and nod as normal.
If you live in the Town of Sangerfield, here's your Polling Place for Election Day tomorrow. It may be a little less white.

A beautiful honor that kept the library busy with knitting needles, yarn, smiles, and snacks. *** Without windchill... Clear sidewalks thanks to the DPW taking care of business (working hard in the next 3 pictures). Local restaurants are certainly a warm place to get out and grab a bite. Friday Fish Frys are already popular this winter. Of course, flowers in winter never hurt either.
