Help Wanted:
The Waterville Volunteer Fire Department is recruiting new volunteer members to help carry on the tradition of neighbors helping neighbors. If you’re at least 16 years old and have some time to help out we would love to chat!! Stop by the firehouse any Monday night after 7pm for a tour and an application.

Our Local Cub Scout Pack 23 will be selling popcorn alternating weekends outside of Stewart’s and Circle-K. Please stop by to support our local scouts. Thank you!

- AROUND TOWN -

A chilly Halloween Week with November, and Daylight Savings, starting on Sunday! After ending last week in the 70's, the whisper of snow by the end of the week has the kids cheering and many adults groaning. Either way, if looks like a CNY Halloween that might require long underwear or a winter coat.

Jack-o'-lanterns are filling in!  We know there was a great deal of carving over the past weekend leading up to this Saturday's holiday.  However, getting around to photograph all of your fantastic work at night (when you happen to have them lit) is a bit harder. Help us out by sending in photos of your lit jack-o'-lanterns so we can showcase them all together!

While the Annual Pumpkin Lighting at MPS has needed to take a different turn this  year, there's still a lot of creativity happening to design the pumpkins that will decorate the halls!
Participations prizes will be given out Friday, October 30th by PTA!
As the collaborative PTA & Rotary effort for the Annual Halloween Party (in recent years combined with the Pumpkin Lighting) is also necessarily cancelled, PTA & Rotary will also be found supporting the Halloween Trail happening outside the library Friday night. There's still plenty of Halloween support for all of the costumed children!

Todd and his wife Casey, an Army Veteran, started their lives in this house 6 years ago after she completed her service to our country.
