The WCSD held two special Board Meetings this week, Monday and Tuesday evening.
Summary provided by The Waterville Times
Waterville Central School families, here is the summary of what the Board of Education and administrators decided for the re-opening plan after two nights of intense discussion.
All students (other than those who will learn from home this year 100 percent of the time) will attend school in the buildings in either their morning or afternoon assigned group. This will be done Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays.
All students will be required to sign on and follow their classes on Wednesdays during their assigned time. For MPS kids that means either morning OR afternoon, and for Junior-Senior high students it is morning AND afternoon. Exceptions to this are students in special education who qualify for attending in the buildings on Wednesdays.
Also decided is that school will begin Tuesday, Sept. 8 with this schedule.
Supply lists for MPS students are on the website. Teacher assignments for everyone and supply lists for the Junior-Senior High will be done by Monday at the latest and sent out to parents.
A year like no other does not have to be a terrible year. Team Purple, Team Gold, we all can do this!

We hope you were able to give a honk to Eleanor and Leona!

A beautiful honor that kept the library busy with knitting needles, yarn, smiles, and snacks. *** Without windchill... Clear sidewalks thanks to the DPW taking care of business (working hard in the next 3 pictures). Local restaurants are certainly a warm place to get out and grab a bite. Friday Fish Frys are already popular this winter. Of course, flowers in winter never hurt either.
