"Point of clarification: There is no plan to re-evaluate the selected reopening model during this upcoming meeting. The board of education selected to open school using the hybrid model during the meeting held on Tuesday, August 25. With the hybrid model, students will attend in-person for half days on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Wednesdays will include remote instruction."

- AROUND TOWN-

Stage Road performed for both the happily seated crowd  and all traveling by on a pleasant Wednesday night.  Bandstand Concerts might be a bit different this year (with seating, no food trucks, etc.), however the community seems thankful simply to be near the cheer that the concerts bring.
Two more Wednesday Bandstand Concerts remain:
Sept. 2: Don Brown II as Elvis
Sept. 9: Paul Ryder (rescheduled from the first week of August)

Thursday evening, the Waterville Public Library held the last of their annual Lemonade on the Lawn series. This week's live music by Melissa Clark was compliment with an altered mash-up of two cancelled events, the Rotary Easter Egg Hunt and the WPL Carnival..

Reserved Lawn Square and Picnic table seating

A special August visit from the Easter Bunny himself (with proper PPE)

Game stations played with each individual's bag of plastic eggs.

If you're in the Village of Waterville and looking to make the most of the last weekend of August, families can still pick up Summer Rec in a Bag for just a few more days. Email mbarnes3386@gmail.com
