Congratulations to the WCS students who were recognized for their completion of the Regional Program for Excellence through which they are able to earn experience in future career interests.

Wednesday afternoon the Cross Country teams hosted a home meet which also served as Senior Night to honor the 3 seniors who will graduate in June 2020.

Thursday evening the weather took a huge shift, and Don Brown II was able to escape passing rain showers to perform as Elvis at the Bandstand. Despite the wet and the September chill, the audience was smiling and swaying along.

In order to promote this event through the school, third graders honed their persuasive writing skills by designing and creating flyers after thoroughly examining flyers for previous library events and brainstorming ideas.
