Please drop off your returnable cans and bottles to the white truck located near the entrance to our AYSO fields. Doing so will help us to raise money without raiding your pockets and help us offset operating costs for the upcoming season! Thank you!

- AROUND TOWN -

The Empire Plate visited the Waterville Residential Care Center last Thursday for a full cooked meal, planned by the residents in a regularly scheduled Menu Planning Meeting, and giving the reputation of cafeteria style food a run for it's money. The menu included Chicken Francaise, Utica Greens, Cornbread, and Strawberry Rhubarb Pie.

Trustee Daniel Nichols posted a photo of the new energy efficient LED bulbs that are now installed at the Firehouse, and will continue to be installed in street lamps throughout the village (over 150).

WCS students and staff had their first 2 days of school this week!  Students from the High School Student Council chalked the sidewalk with encouraging messages.
