- AROUND TOWN -

From The Waterville Historical Society Instagram page, courtesy of John G. Brouillette. Top: This is a photograph of Waterville from about 1868. It was taken from a window of the American Hotel. Bottom: In 2019, it was taken from a window of the bank. Many of the buildings remain the same, but some have changed, most noticeably the building housing The Slaughtered Lamb, and the building housing the liquor store. Other buildings (such as the left side of Morgan's Hardware) have been built taller. One building to the left of the current row of buildings, and the garage where Stewart's currently stands, have since been demolished.

A beautiful day to wander around town!

Overflowing flower baskets at Stewart's

The planters on Main Street are starting to flow over too, thanks to their early start in the greenhouse.

A bit closer and you can see that at the end of July, Earthly Organic Wellness will take their practice to New Hartford. Best wishes for their business, as well as for a new business to jump right into the spot.
