Congratulations to the Waterville Music Department on their annual competition at the Sherburne Pageant of the Bands. Waterville earned:
Jazz Band: 1st Place
Concert Band: 2nd Place
Marching Band: 4th Place
Drumline: 4th Place

A traditionally busy first weekend of June, the Music Department then hosted the annual Ice Cream Social fundraiser on Sunday with musical performances and ice cream & toppings galore.

The 2018 Rotary Auction drew another large crowd at the Sangerfield Town Barn. The amount raised by the sale of donations circulates back to the community through Rotary programs and donations.

Falk on his retirement from his 20-year tenure as Society President.  Over the past two decades Joe and his wife Kelly have spearheaded the growth of the Historical Society as a vital part of the community.  When the Society was without a permanent home, they established it as a historical museum for the Village of Waterville and Town of Sangerfield, first in the former Episcopal and Welsh Church and Village Hall on White Street, and for the past ten years in the Brainard House (the former YMCA and Waterville Public Library) at 220 East Main Street.
