The MPS Kindergarten class took their annual field trip to the library, complete with a picnic lunch open to friends and family of the students.
The Betty Jo Williams Penmanship Award was also presented by her grandchildren

More picnicking took place Thursday evening at the MPS Victory Garden, where students and families were welcome to bring a picnic, enjoy live music by Midweek Fridays, ice cream, and the continually increasing garden area.

In honor of Flag Day, Thursday June 14, the Flag Burning ceremony to retire old and worn flags was held at the American Legion.
