Friday Night's calm near Hanover

By Monday morning, people seemed to wake with either far more or far less sleep after the power outage from ~7:30 pm - 10:30 pm Sunday night.
The clouds rolled in slowly, but provided quite the show along with some thunder and lightning.

Once the power was out, many people took to the outdoors. Downtown was bustling with walkers, bikers, and plenty of porch sitting  But many were quick to comment that seeing the village dark was a bit eerie.  The next round of lightening and rain then sent most inside.

By this morning, no local outages were reported on NYSEG's Outage Map or site
* Thank You * to all of the workers & volunteers
who worked to get the power back on and provide safety in the meantime.

Not only did we get a glimpse of their variety of vegetables and pumpkins, but the kids offered to take charge of the camera to give the best views of their favorites. Enjoy! ...
