An Update from The Historical Society:
While Loomis Gang Country Bus Tours are sold out, maps are available for self-guided tours, and there's still plenty to see and do at the Historical Society at 220 East Main Street, Waterville. Enjoy exhibits on the Loomis Gang, our 50th Anniversary, George Eastman, the Brainard Family, Sangerfield, Waterville Businesses, Growing Up in Waterville, the Hop Cellar and the video "When the Hop Was King in Central New York," the 1895 Bowling Alley, and Looking Back, photos and artifacts from Waterville's past. Relax in our Coffee House and browse our Pie and Bake Sale while listening to the E-Z Strings Band at 10:30-11:30 and 12-1. Chicken BBQ is available from 11 AM for $10, including 1/2 chicken, salt potatoes, coleslaw, roll and butter, watermelon and drink. Hot Dog Meals are available for $5 and include a Hoffman hot dog on bun, chips, watermelon and drink. Our Gift Shoppe features books, videos, prints, mugs, T-shirts, toys, souvenirs, and crafts.

Hot, humid, and stormy weather kept the Carnival inside, and on that kind of day the patrons seemed thankful for it!

A day filled with Brews, Carnival Games, and Music to benefit Spring Farm Cares!  The banquet hall will be setup with carnival games and music! We will have a special brew for the day and have some sampling from Tri-Valley Beverages with a few other suprises! Our Weenie Mascot, Bunz, will also be in attendance for Pictures and Dancing. - WEATHER - ***** - TODAY - ***** - IN THE MAIL - With Thanks to West Side Senior Center  for Paula Gray Knitting Day From WCS Librarian Katie Parker "The Waterville Junior/Senior High School Library was pleased to receive a large donation of knitting supplies from the West Side Senior Citizen Center in Utica, NY.  Recently, the Waterville Junior/Senior High School hosted the first annual "Paula Gray Knitting Day," @ the school library.  Under the guidance of Kate Hobaica, MaryBeth VanDenbergh, Colleen Bogan, Debby Olin, and Debbie Barnes, Waterville Junior/Senior High School students explored knitting and crocheting.  Students continue to hone their skills in the library during study hall.  The staff of the Waterville Junior/Senior High School Library would like to express their gratitude to those at the West Side Senior Citizen Center for supporting our students’ interests." *** Memorial Park Elementary celebrates Beverly Clear
