An Update from the Historical Society:
While Loomis Gang Country Bus Tours are sold out, maps are available for self-guided tours, and there's still plenty to see and do at the Historical Society at 220 East Main Street, Waterville. Enjoy exhibits on the Loomis Gang, our 50th Anniversary, George Eastman, the Brainard Family, Sangerfield, Waterville Businesses, Growing Up in Waterville, the Hop Cellar and the video "When the Hop Was King in Central New York," the 1895 Bowling Alley, and Looking Back, photos and artifacts from Waterville's past. Relax in our Coffee House and browse our Pie and Bake Sale while listening to the E-Z Strings Band at 10:30-11:30 and 12-1. Chicken BBQ is available from 11 AM for $10, including 1/2 chicken, salt potatoes, coleslaw, roll and butter, watermelon and drink. Hot Dog Meals are available for $5 and include a Hoffman hot dog on bun, chips, watermelon and drink. Our Gift Shoppe features books, videos, prints, mugs, T-shirts, toys, souvenirs, and crafts.

Friday night earned more buzz on the track! New school record Dylan williams 800 by 2 seconds 2:00.87 placing 3rd. Girls 4x4 Lydia Snow, Amy Lakata, Megan Wittenbeck, and Sydney Hajdasz(alternate ciara Owens) placed 3rd with a seasons best time (-4 seconds) 4:17.62 only 2 seconds shy of the school record. Sydney Hajdasz competing in the 200m as well with a seasons best time of 27.89!!! Congrats to all *** WCS participated in the 70th Annual Sherburne Pageant of the Bands.
