National Teacher Appreciation Week is hitting schools this week and/or next (it falls on the first full week of May, which was interpreted differently in different places as May 1st was a Monday).

That means teachers are getting extra thanks, which is always a good thing!

National Teacher Appreciation Day is Tues. May 9th, so there's still time to take part.

At Waterville, the PTA delivered treats from The Waterville Standard Bakery today (they were gobbled up quickly).

Hearts cutouts with complimentary words and phrases hang on the High School Auditorium wall reminding teachers and students of all the wonderful people that create that building.

Flower & Garden Shops are proving to be a great getaway from the chilly, damp weather we have been having. No matter what the weather, it's spring as Alcott's is officially open again.

A beautiful honor that kept the library busy with knitting needles, yarn, smiles, and snacks. *** Without windchill... Clear sidewalks thanks to the DPW taking care of business (working hard in the next 3 pictures). Local restaurants are certainly a warm place to get out and grab a bite. Friday Fish Frys are already popular this winter. Of course, flowers in winter never hurt either.
