Zoom Easter Service will be found HERE on their Worship page

Earth Day Events are in the process of coming together, offering the same message to get out and clean up our community, our local spot on this earth.

- AROUND TOWN -

April First looked like a joke no one quite wanted. However it was not nearly as much as predicted, and as Friday's sunshine warmed the day it has been melting away just fine.

Soup and bread were distributed to the community, with the choice of a Zoom service for Maundy Thursday at the Waterville United Methodist Church. Other services were active around the village as well as you'll continue to find a mix of in person and virtual options.

Here at the library, it was another busy afternoon of entertaining with the Easter Bunny. Forgive us for not getting out for many other pictures, but that bunny was too busy wishing for a backhoe.
So while the Annual Rotary Egg Hunt that would normally take place tomorrow, the day before Easter, is cancelled. Collaboration and multiple smaller events made it possible to distribute all of the eggs, candy and loads of goodies that they would normally make their way into the community. Plus baskets from the Connected Community Schools, and even a chance to visit with some heavy machinery thanks to the Village. It was a different Easter for certain, but we can assure you the Bunny was pretty happy to visit around Waterville.  If, and however, you celebrate Easter weekend, may it be just as wonderful.
