Congratulations to April Staelens who received the Oriskany Falls Rotary Club Pride of Workmanship Award last week.
"April has worked at Tanner Insurance for 7 years. April is also very involved with the Salvation Army. She coordinates the Annual Bell Ringers in this area. She has coordinated back packs for kids in need and other projects for the Salvation Army. April and her husband James Staelens are parents and share the holiday season with a massive Christmas light show. Thank you April, for all you do. You truly deserve the Pride in Workmanship Award." - Oriskany Falls Rotary Club

It was a weekend of winter weather, even if a bit more mellow than predicted.
From the Barton-Brown Observatory Weather Station
Stewart's on Saturday morning just before the predicted storm was expected.
Downtown on Tuesday- with temperatures in the upper teens, after the snow, the biting cold, and the high winds had passed.
Wednesday, warmer temperatures and freezing rain set in. But the true decrease in snow banks, and increase in parking is thanks to the DPW and their snow removal throughout the day.
The snow banks bordering the CVS parking lot stand the most impressive height, looking a bit more like winters of past.
