Jeff Reynolds captured the MVAS at the Waterville Public Library on Monday to see
Mercury transit across the Sun

***
Jody Hildreth also caught some great captures that he "stitched together."
"I took three photos at 7:41 am9:02 am, and 10:43 am.This was not an easy process, and fortunately I had a little experience from photographing the transit of Venus four years ago. I used a Canon 7D Mark II with a Canon 400mm f5.6 lens and a Sigma 2x teleconverter.  I attached a Variable Neutral Density Filter as well as handheld a second Neutral Density filter in front of the lens.  I shot in manual mode at ISO 100, f28, 1/8000 sec.  I stitched the three photos using Photoshop Elements 13."

Please keep in mind that your items will be kept local.
Also, as you plant your garden remember that vegetables, fruit, etc can be donated to the Waterville Food Pantry too (professionally prepared fish, game, and meat too).
