The Volunteers at our local Fire Departments have kept busy with Fire Prevention Week this week.

The Bookworms Early Literacy Group took a field trip to the Waterville Fire Department. They were generously given a tour, a chance to see fire fighter gear and how it looks on, and, of course, sit in a fire truck!

Several local Fire Departments joined together to provide a fantastic experience for the Memorial Park Elementary School kids, with several stations and interactive engagement.
