BROOKFIELD CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT

The public is invited to a Meet & Greet
with Democratic Candidate for
Oneida County Family Court Judge
KAREN STANISLAUS
Thursday, October 28, 6 - 7 pm
at Waterville Historical Society
220 East Main Street, Waterville
Come to listen, learn, and ask questions

Sponsored by Town of Sangerfield Democratic Committee
Our fire department will now be teaming up with the Oriskany Falls Legion
to make this a fundraiser for one of our members wives, Ann Marie Glouse. Ann Marie
has been a staple to our community in healthcare serving others and providing
wonderful, compassionate care as a nurse. She will be receiving treatment for cancer
and could use all the support we can give. You can either text or call the number
listed to pre order or come the day of and get chicken. Pre orders will be paid for
the day of pickup. It just helps us have a rough idea of how many we should cook.
Let's help one of our very loved community members by showing your support.

-AROUND TOWN-

From: Oneida County Sheriff's Office
October 28th is National First Responders Day.
This day honors the men and women who act quickly when an emergency is at hand.
First responders dedicate their lives to saving lives. They are the people who run
toward a crisis while the rest of the World flees. The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office
would like to recognize not only our members, but the men and women that we
work with each and every day and are honored to have the title as a “First Responder.”
From: Waterville Residential Care Center
Happy Physical Therapy Month to everyone!
This month we would like to recognize our two Physical Therapists,
Lori Sitts and Holly Beekley. Lori and Holly are both new to our facility
and they both have 31 years of experience in the field!
Lori has expertise and knowledge in acute care, sub acute rehab, long term care,
outpatient rehab, and home care. Holly states that she enjoys her new position
at WRCC due to the family oriented facility and focus on quality of life.
Physical Therapy is an important aspect to maintaining quality of life
in this setting. WRCC is excited and grateful to have these two ladies on our team!

From: Waterville Central School District

Jr./Sr. High staff are engaged in Mental Health First Aid training
for today’s Superintendent Conference Day. Teachers are identifying
the stressors that our students experience and how we can help.
Thank you to Connected Community Schools for providing the training!

MPS Positivity Project
“Leadership is not a position or a title, it is action and example.”
Happy National Principals Month to our leader, Ms. Hinderling.
These clever carvers in Mrs. Sturr’s class had fun being
creative and worked as a team to design their class pumpkins.

As light passes through these hexagon-shaped ice crystals, it is bent at a 22 degree angle, creating a halo 22 degrees in radius (or 44 degrees in diameter). A double halo, sometimes with spokes, may be seen on rare occasions when light reflects off water or ice.      The prism effect of light passing through these six-sided ice crystals separates the light in...
