- AROUND TOWN -

As promised, we got out for updated photos along Main Street on a day when the sidewalks are visible! Luckily Wednesday and Thursday's snow disappeared quickly. Of particular note, the roads, sidewalks, light posts and business upgrades! Just to name a few. As we head into the weekend, with Green Up Waterville on Saturday, maybe it can spark an extra bit of appreciation and gumption to get out there and keep it in good condition!

One particular area that has come up across many conversations recently is the Fireman's Pavilion/Village Parking Lot area. As times change, the use of the area has certainly changed as well. But with baseball seasons starting up at Fireman's Field and Pop Warner and possibly others making use of the well field to practice, there seems to be a mutual agreement that there will be an uptick in parking and use. Wouldn't it be nice...to be nice. Maybe some elbow grease and good 'ol community effort is just the place to start! So whether we see you from 9 - 10 am to grab supplies for the Waterville Green Up, or you get out there on your own, or simply make sure your own garbage gets, well, in the garbage, let's keep the forward motion moving!

How about a nice sunny, lush shot of the well field to start the weekend!

WCSD DISTRICT BUDGET VOTE Ballots Must Be Received in the District by 5 pm June 9 to be Counted You will receive a BROWN envelope that contains - A double sided paper ballot - A BROWN ballot envelope - A white self addressed stamped envelope Remove all items. Make your selections on the paper ballot (BOTH SIDES) fold and place in the BROWN ballot Envelope. Complete the front on the BROWN ballot envelope- Turn over and SIGN the back. A beautiful honor that kept the library busy with knitting needles, yarn, smiles, and snacks. *** Without windchill... Clear sidewalks thanks to the DPW taking care of business (working hard in the next 3 pictures). Local restaurants are certainly a warm place to get out and grab a bite. Friday Fish Frys are already popular this winter. Of course, flowers in winter never hurt either.
