Signs are back up at the Depot entrance for Blunt's Berries. However, this time of year you'll find beautiful mums if you follow the driveway on the left side of the Depot. On the right and across the street at the Kirkland trails, the autumn trees are creating a stunning canopy to walk underneath.

In the opposite direction, Bailey Lake and the winding roads leading to and fro are picturesque as can be.

The contest will begin at 7:00 pm and will be held in the High School Auditorium. The contest will feature both dramatic and comedic monologues. The event is sponsored by the local chapter of the Rotary and refreshments will be provided by the High School Student Council. Students participating this year include: Claire Bouillette, Lillian Broedel, Ele onore Collins, Natalee Collins, Dawson Damuth, Valorie Ford, Gavin Poyer, Ashlie Wilson, Alivia Zombek, and Sarah Zombek.
