From the Brothertown Optimist Club regarding the Brothertown Scholarship Fund:

- AROUND TOWN -

Saturday, May 9, 2020
Saturday morning dawned with a crunchy layer of snow that contrasted greatly with the warmth and sunshine of the previous weekend. This snowy cover put a damper on the Annual Rotary Clean-Up that was Do It Yourself style this year due to COVID-19. But the good news is that you can still get out any day and contribute towards keeping our community clean.

Osborne Avenue, Waterville, NY
While the snow continued on and off throughout Saturday, by Mother's Day it at least eased up- even if it was mere 40 degrees in contrast to 70 degrees on Sunday, May 3rd.  Hopefully you found other ways to celebrate mom than the typical outdoor BBQ...

One thing that absolutely continues, births and birthdays!
The Waterville Area Birthday Train continues on to help celebrate and can always use help.
The Brothertown Optimist Club formed their own Birthday Train on Sunday as well to honor JoAnne Ashforth!

A beautiful honor that kept the library busy with knitting needles, yarn, smiles, and snacks. *** Without windchill... Clear sidewalks thanks to the DPW taking care of business (working hard in the next 3 pictures). Local restaurants are certainly a warm place to get out and grab a bite. Friday Fish Frys are already popular this winter. Of course, flowers in winter never hurt either.
