Over 50 children came out last week to the Clark Memorial Library in Oriskany Falls to enjoy Michelle Boehlert's new book 'Skyler's Travels!'  Michelle read yesterday at the Kirkland Town Library to another great crew. Then, you can catch her in Waterville at the start of the "Lemonade on the Lawn" series at 6 pm. She'll kick the evening off with a reading of Skyler's Travels, then be available for questions, chatting, and the sale of her book.

Also last week, the Valley Storm Track & Field Club held their August Summer Meet at the Waterville Jr/Sr High Facility.

How the planter boxes have grown!


While you may have to wait for your next baguette or croissant, The Waterville Historical Society will be the play to be on Saturday for Bake Sale items in addition to their Chicken BBQ and Loomis Gang Tours.



It looks like a delightful evening for a concert in the park with Paul Ryder!

- WEATHER - ***** - LOCAL CALENDARS - Village: Waterville Public Library: Waterville Central School District:   ***** WCS Sports: ***** - IN THE MAIL - ***** - AROUND TOWN - Over the busy June 1st weekend, rain and thunderstorms mostly held off for a wide assortment of annual events. Friday night earned more buzz on the track! New school record Dylan williams 800 by 2 seconds 2:00.87 placing 3rd. Girls 4x4 Lydia Snow, Amy Lakata, Megan Wittenbeck, and Sydney Hajdasz(alternate ciara Owens) placed 3rd with a seasons best time (-4 seconds) 4:17.62 only 2 seconds shy of the school record. Sydney Hajdasz competing in the 200m as well with a seasons best time of 27.89!!! Congrats to all *** WCS participated in the 70th Annual Sherburne Pageant of the Bands. Todd Coon the father of four young children was the only one home at the time when the fire broke out. Todd was asleep because he works third shift. By the grace of God, Kurt Carney, his neighbor was unexpectedly home at the time. After many attempts, Kurt was able to wake Todd and he escaped safely, but all of their belongings are gone.
