- AROUND TOWN -

We're back in full swing as summer takes the downturn of the roller coaster ride into fall.  While the Hot, Hazy, and Humid weather people might be disappointed, there has been plenty of comfortable sunshine to keep summer activities rolling.  Farm stands are increasing, and so are their offerings! Get your local sweet corn while you can! Meanwhile, Waterville Summer Rec is on their last week, Oriskany Falls is complete, WCS JV & Varsity sports begin one week from today, and we're not ready to admit it, but a few trees are starting to color.

Last week the Waterville Methodist Church hosted a free Vacation Bible School with a western theme, and plenty of crafts, games, songs, and smiles to go around.
Local kids have another opportunity for Vacation Bible School hosted by the Waterville Baptist Church at the end of the month (info listed above).

This week yard sales are already popping up to compliment all of the local antique offerings in conjunction with the Madison-Bouckville Antique Show.

Visitors at Fresh Picked Antiques will find additional sales, as the shop gets ready to close up to allow more time for family.

Click Here for a list of Show Fields at Madison-Bouckville and don't forget to visit Pat or DKS Antiques in Waterville too! Both in former churches that are something to look at in themselves.

Not only did we get a glimpse of their variety of vegetables and pumpkins, but the kids offered to take charge of the camera to give the best views of their favorites. Enjoy! ...
