In response to the fire that took place at the Coon family home on Wednesday on Brothertown Rd

"On Wednesday, March 6th, the Coon family suffered a devastating loss due to a house fire. Todd Coon the father of four young children was the only one home at the time when the fire broke out. Todd was asleep because he works third shift. By the grace of God, Kurt Carney, his neighbor was unexpectedly home at the time. After many attempts, Kurt was able to wake Todd and he escaped safely, but all of their belongings are gone. Todd and his wife Casey, an Army Veteran, started their lives in this house 6 years ago after she completed her service to our country. They have accumulated many things and have made many memories with their children there. The memories are irreplaceable but the material things can be replaced with our help. Please consider donating to this family as they rebuild their lives."

Another donation option, gift cards for local grocery stores, restaurants, etc. can be delivered to Ashley Caraher at Belfied Realty at 147 W Main St, Waterville. Or call 315-404-8232

- AROUND TOWN -

From David McNamara in Stockwell
'Santa Clause has left our town, the reindeer all have gone. But now appears some Shamrocks and a happy Leprechaun. The days are getting longer and soon spring will appear. So a happy St. Patrick’s day to all friends far and near.'

From the CNY Snow Travelers:
The CNY SnowTravelers would like to extend a huge thank you to Bill Getman and the Barton Fund for the generosity to purchase this 2019 Trail Paver that will be used on our local snowmobile trails.
We took delivery of it on Feb 23, it is all hand built + assembled by a company from the Buffalo area.
This is the second Trail Paver the club has and will be pulled behind our 1999 Tucker 2000 groomer, based out of Dave's Landscaping in the Deansboro area.
We look forward yearly to keeping the trails safe and enjoyable for everyone, this is a another piece to help accomplish that.
Again, thank you very much.
