- AROUND TOWN -

The time in Winter Sports Season when lots of exciting news starts to come in.
Congratulations to Brooke Williams, the 2019 CSC Champion in the high jump!  Also, the 1st ever CSC Champion from Waterville for Indoor Track and Field. Williams competed Friday night against 16 other schools at Utica College along with teammates Brooke Wilson, Isaiah Snow and Sarah Zombeck

***
Meanwhile, the Varsity Volleyball team held Senior Night here in Waterville!

***
Art Club students are spreading love around MPS, which was captured by the Positivity Project rolling there.

***
Everyone seems more positive as temperatures and sunshine have increased through the weekend- straight to mid 50's today! It's enough that most of the slush turned to ice has melted, and people are taking advantage of it. The groundhog predicted an early spring on Saturday, but none of us are fool enough to believe it would come this early in CNY. Winter returns by the end of the week.
