Multiple Fire Departments, including Oriskany Falls, Waterville and Deansboro, responded to a house fire on Sanger Hill Road Thursday morning. The house is a loss, and efforts are in effect to help the owner.

From the Skeele Insurance Agency Facebook:

"Sadly, our neighbor and Legionnaire Lee Edwards of Sanger Hill Road, had a horrible house fire this morning and lost everything, including his pet. He was able to escape with no injuries but everything he had is gone. The Agency is accepting any/all donations of lightly used or new clothing, toiletries and small appliances at this time. Shirts: Large, Pants: 32x29. Gift cards for Dollar General, Stewart’s and CVS are also appropriate. Thank you in advance for your gracious giving for this hardship!"
