"The Jerzak family is a wonderful family that has had a very difficult time lately. Fred and Dana's son, Gavin, who received a liver transplant in 2017, has been suffering complications. The family has racked up medical bills and travel expenses as they have gone back and forth to Boston for the last few weeks.
Everyone who knows this family loves them. They are so strong and Gavin is such a fighter, but this kind of setback can be difficult for any family to navigate through- especially during the holiday season. Please consider donating to this family to help them."

By the grace of God, Kurt Carney, his neighbor was unexpectedly home at the time. After many attempts, Kurt was able to wake Todd and he escaped safely, but all of their belongings are gone. Joseph E. Joe became a member of the Oriskany Falls Fire Department in 1968. Over his 50+ years, he served in many capacities including; the department Secretary, President, long time Fire Commissioner and earned Life-Member status. In addition, he served as Mayor of our Village from 1974 to 1977. His contributions to our department during his years of service are immeasurable. He was an integral part of many activities of yesteryear including being the Chairman of the Snowmobile races, Motocross races and Field Day Committee, as well as a long time delegate to the Oneida County Fireman’s Association.
