- AROUND TOWN -

Saturday's stormy weather did not prevent a grand number of community members coming out to support the Buschor Family. The benefit was held at the American Legion in Sangerfield, and put together by the Class of 2000 in support of their classmate, Bob Buschor. Local businesses and individuals gifted large items, gift cards, baskets , a wonderful buffet of food and more.  The way the Waterville community has rallied around its' residents lately has certainly shown the heart of the community.

Maybe Watervillians gather some of their strength by their ability to wait out long winters... like this year when we continue to see snow on the last day of April. By noon the lower elevations were seeing mostly rain, but as soon as you traveled up hill the snow had clearly settled in.

The flowers are persisting. However, May Baskets might take some extra creativity this year.
