The Boy Scout Pinewood Derby took place over the weekend with lots of creative and speedy designs.

Sun and blue skies made Tuesday feel almost as warm as today's 45 degrees.

I took only a handful pictures on our walk yesterday, as much of the village looked, well, the same in this wintry time of year.  When news traveled of Nancy Morgan's passing, this picture was quickly nixed.  However, I added it back.  For it doesn't even do justice to the eye-catching pool of light that caused me to stop and take it.  It glimmered more noticeably than the other houses on the street, just like Nancy Morgan, and I think much of the village would agree.
