     Hamilton, NY looked like it took a turn for the worse recently,
even though it was really experiencing some exciting events.
     The indie film "Pottersville" is being filmed there this month, and a huge number of locals turned out to audition and be filmed as extras.
    "Pottersville" is about a small town that is having it's hard luck turned around by a sasquatch sighting and the interest that follows.  It is being directed by Seth Henrikson; produced by Ron Perlman's Wing and a Prayer Pictures with Scott Lochmus, Perlman, Josh Crook, and Jonathan Gray;
and Michael Shannon has been rumored to be on set.

 "During the less than 13 years of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s leadership of the modern American Civil Rights Movement, from December, 1955 until April 4, 1968, African Americans achieved more genuine progress toward racial equality in America than the previous 350 years had produced. Dr. King is widely regarded as America’s pre-eminent advocate of nonviolence and one of the greatest nonviolent leaders in world history."

A beautiful honor that kept the library busy with knitting needles, yarn, smiles, and snacks. *** Without windchill... Clear sidewalks thanks to the DPW taking care of business (working hard in the next 3 pictures). Local restaurants are certainly a warm place to get out and grab a bite. Friday Fish Frys are already popular this winter. Of course, flowers in winter never hurt either.
