- THE WEATHER -

Don't forget,  just one click on the WeatherUnderground "widget" in right column
(where it says "Click for Forecast")  takes you to today's weather report, along with detailed hourly and daily forecasts, and tons of historical climate information (scroll down, down, down!)

- IN THE NEWS -

        In the spirit of the season, we suggest a look at reviews of international organizations that target water and sanitation needs worldwide--  those deemed most effective and efficient by GuideStar, the world's largest independent source of information on nonprofit organizations.

       Living here in the USA, it's so easy to take for granted these essential human needs,-- fundamental to civilization through the ages but, sadly neglected in so many parts of the world today.    We can get a case of coffee or box of paper clips or a set of tires delivered express in less than 24 hours here, but a simple cup of pure water is nowhere to be found for many millions elsewhere!

       Click the link below for wonderful giving opportunities that promise results.   (Glad to see that Rotary International---represented in our community by the Waterville and Oriskany Falls clubs-- made the top-15 list!)

See you next week, and until then...

Have a holly, jolly Christmas;
It's the best time of the year
I don't know if there'll be snow (⛄️☔️?)
but have a cup of cheer
Have a holly, jolly Christmas;
And when you walk down the street
Say Hello to friends you know
and everyone you meet.

Oh ho
the mistletoe
hung where you can see;
Somebody waits for you;
Kiss her once for me
Have a holly jolly Christmas
and in case you didn't hear
Oh by golly
have a holly
jolly Christmas this year!
