- AROUND TOWN -

Memorial Day weekend ended the month of May with cool and rainy weather. Breaks of sunshine came later in the day on Monday, Memorial Day, but regardless of weather the community showed up for parades and ceremonies across Waterville, Deansboro, and Oriskany Falls.

Thanks to Kelly Machold for capturing these Waterville photos!

From Troy Bishopp:
The Deansboro community and our Deansboro Cemetery Association appreciate the volunteer work that Bob Vandenbergh does for our veterans every year. He has researched, located, funded and placed veteran markers and flags on graves as well as Deansville and Deansboro Fireman. He also leads the team of fireman in placing flags in the Deansboro Cemetery. Thank you very much to our Bob and all the board volunteers and maintenance crew who maintain the grounds all year round. If you'd like to support our efforts please consider a donation to the Deansboro Cemetery Assoc. at 2809 Rt. 12B Deansboro, NY 13328
