- AROUND TOWN -

Friday, the Learning at Its Best Learning Club Bake Sale earned enough money to fund a soldier through the Adopt a Soldier Program plus to provide a Thanksgiving dinner to a family locally. Bravo to the Learning Club, and to all who supported the sale!

Happy First Responders Day- especially to all our local volunteers!
Monday evening the Waterville, Deansboro, and Clayville Fire Departments underwent training for grain bin scenarios.
Grain bins of all sizes are springing up all over our rural districts. We used a grain truck to simulate the victim going down in the corn, and stood on soda crates and plywood for stability. Finally a plastic drum with the ends cut out is shoved over the victim to real ease pressure for removal from the grain. As you can see it was a great learning experience with many ideas to improve our chances of rescue. Many thanks to everyone whom attended!!

Meanwhile, the Halloween displays are starting to need a panoramic view! Which really means, get out and see them in their full glory. There are certainly countless hours into many of them!

Be sure to look through all of your Halloween options above!
The area has certainly pivoted to provide as much as possible!
