The Waterville Public Library Bookworms Early Literacy group celebrated St. Patrick's day with a crafty leprechaun trap this morning. While the leprechaun escaped, there was plenty of mischief to be enjoyed- and happily cleaned up.

The news that Stewart's is likely to expand is spreading as quickly as it is proposed to happen. Down will come the most recently former Grille restaurant, down through Fred's Barbershop and the Hydroponics store (still unopened). Stewart's will expand, including it's offerings into that lot, up to The Slaughtered Lamb Pub. Of course, opinions and memories of the businesses of past are swirling.
Meanwhile, the Old Bank building has been in the process of renovation for small businesses. Those interested can join Waterville First at their meeting on Thursday night from 5:30-7:30 pm at the Old Bank to learn more.
There were no complaints about the warm up of temperature, from the short-sleeved kids to those wandering on four paws. Relative warmth is even expected to continue, and fingers crossed, dry skies for those celebrating with parades this weekend.
