Welcome to Waterville!

Earthly Organic Wellness announced on Facebook that they will be opening in Waterville where the Totally-U formerly was located. Renovations started this week, and they hope completed and open February 1st. Owned by Dawna Forward, licensed Massage Therapist, Licensed Esthetician, and Reiki Practitioner, who works along with Kyla Lawrence, Licensed Massage Therapist and Reiki Practitioner.  In their Waterville location, they will offer "Massage Therapy, Shiatsu, Organic Facials & Body Treatments, Reiki, Chakra Balancing, Meditation and Yoga.  As well as educational workshops and events."
Hours of Operation will be Monday - Friday 9 am - 6 pm, Saturday 9 am - 2 pm.
Plus, extended hours for workshops and classes.

Road and parking lots have been layered with snow and slush over the past few days, as a steady bit of  light snow globe snow continued Tuesday and early today. The DPW continues to be hard at work removing snow to keep things nicely manageable.

Data has again been retrieved from the Village's radar speed signs. The portable sign has been placed on NYS315 for the past 3 weeks. I have noticed first-hand that this sign's presence has made a huge difference in slowing vehicles down coming into the village. Reminder that the sign records data at the time the vehicle passes the sign, not when the vehicle first registers on the sign. Buell Ave (Route 315), from March 11 - April 1. Traveling into the village: Total vehicles: 22,424 0 - 30 MPH: 11,715 (52.24%) 31 - 35 MPH: 4,431 (19.76%) 36 - 40 MPH: 3,022 (13.48%) 41 - 45 MPH: 1,891 (8.43%) 46 - 65 MPH: 1,365 (6.09%) - Some of these vehicles were moving over 75 MPH. A day filled with Brews, Carnival Games, and Music to benefit Spring Farm Cares!  The banquet hall will be setup with carnival games and music! We will have a special brew for the day and have some sampling from Tri-Valley Beverages with a few other suprises! Our Weenie Mascot, Bunz, will also be in attendance for Pictures and Dancing.
