A total lunar eclipse on September 27, 2015, was also a so-called supermoon, when the moon is at its closest point to Earth in its orbit.

The mild temperatures over the weekend and on Monday are clearing sidewalks, parking lots, and entire green spots. Kudos to the Village for keeping Babbott park a pleasant and advantageous piece of our community during all four seasons. Many people seem to have caught on and to enjoy the smooth, clear walking path at a time when sidewalks can get a bit dicey.

No one seems to be complaining about the break in temperatures- in jackets, feathers or fur.
