"...Betty served as Town Clerk for the Town of Sangerfield where she enjoyed working with the public for over 40 years and was dedicated to her job. She also worked with her husband Chuck running the Western Auto in Waterville for many years. Betty loved to play cards, was an avid reader and enjoyed party barge rides on Lake Moraine with her family.
She was a member of the NYS Association of Town Clerks, and the Pleasant Valley Grange, the Waterville Historical Society, Waterville Womens’ Club and the Waterville Fireman’s Auxiliary..."
