"Please Join us for the 2nd Annual Waterville Turkey Trot!

This will be an informal way for friends,family and neighbors to come out and enjoy a nice walk or run before we sit down with those most important to us to stuff ourselves. I am hoping that everyone will join us in bringing with them food items and/or a monetary donation for the Waterville Area Food Pantry (we will have boxes for the food and an envelope for the cash or check donations). We will meet at the start line for the Mary Cleary Memorial Run (near the Little League Field) and follow the same course. Since this is an informal run/walk please stay on the sidewalks and run or walk whatever distance you want or have time for. The goal for this day is to have fun, get some exercise and support our community through a great organization. "

15th Annual Victorian Tea

British-style Cream Tea featuring scones with strawberry jam and Devonshire cream, Earl Grey tea, hot chocolate, cookies made from recipes in the Historical Society's cookbooks, sweets and savories served at your table. who participated in the 144th Annual Prize Speaking last evening.
Seven students participated under the advisement of Mr. Elacqua.

MPS Celebrated the end of Scholastic Book Fair Week with Pardners & Pancakes.

The PTA made and passed out pancakes to each class.

Data has again been retrieved from the Village's radar speed signs. The portable sign has been placed on NYS315 for the past 3 weeks. I have noticed first-hand that this sign's presence has made a huge difference in slowing vehicles down coming into the village. Reminder that the sign records data at the time the vehicle passes the sign, not when the vehicle first registers on the sign. Buell Ave (Route 315), from March 11 - April 1. Traveling into the village: Total vehicles: 22,424 0 - 30 MPH: 11,715 (52.24%) 31 - 35 MPH: 4,431 (19.76%) 36 - 40 MPH: 3,022 (13.48%) 41 - 45 MPH: 1,891 (8.43%) 46 - 65 MPH: 1,365 (6.09%) - Some of these vehicles were moving over 75 MPH. The banquet hall will be setup with carnival games and music! We will have a special brew for the day and have some sampling from Tri-Valley Beverages with a few other suprises!
