- AROUND TOWN -

Tuesday was the last day of school, but a different sort of last day than ever before. Supply Drop Offs were held at both school locations to return text books, library books, chromebooks, etc. With a swing on the usual in school Fun Day, MPS teachers, staff, and PTA provided a Drive Thru Party. With enthusiasm, the MPS Tiger, inflatables, bubbles, and super soakers, many pictures came out like the one below. Let's just say it was that good of a party. Sixth graders can pick up their big head decorations that lined the driveway at any time.

Also in the last week, the Waterville Rotary Club awarded their annual Young Person of the Year Award, which was announced during the virtual 6th Grade Graduation, as well at the Pride of Workmanship Award. Be sure to congratulate
